Portfolio

As the central principle of permaculture, we design property with functional relationships at the forefront. The ecological context that this grows out of speaks of food webs, circulation of energy, the intersection of elements.

Farming is not just something that is done on tractors somewhere far into the country! You can farm in your place, under grow lights in your basement, or in containers on your deck.

Lake House

A permaculture and garden design project for Parry Sound, located in Northern Ontario, Canada. The house borders Lake Nippissing, so we designed systems with the lake in mind. Enjoy the view!

Pollinators Garden

This type of garden supports and maintains pollinators by supplying food in the form of pollen and nectar that will ensure that these essential animals stay in the area to keep pollinating our crops for continued fruit and vegetable production.

Maple Guild

With its beautiful Fall colours, maples are guaranteed to make a statement when placed correctly. This project involved a bit of landscaping and planning so we could design a guild for the maple trees around the property. We created a plant design scheme that featured both edibles and ornamentals.
