Permaculture Design
We help you achieve successful permacultural systems for building healthy soil, growing food, medicinal plants, fruits. And specific projects, like rainwater catchment, compost systems, greenhouses, cold frames, a pollinator or a rain garden, and more. We can show you where to build it, provide the dimensions and specifications for construction, and suggest a phasing plan to get the timing right.
Our Permaculture Design Process
01
Initial Consultation
During our time together, we can begin to generate ideas, hear about your vision and goals, and refine the project approach into a scope that suits your site, goals, and budget.
03
Concept Plan
After an extensive assessment to understand the current site conditions, we design an ecologically-led system and help you envision the optimum possibilities for your land. During this stage, we create a 2D aerial map showcasing the principal elements and connections.
05
Detailed Plan
Particularly on larger projects, Concept Plans need to be converted to detailed drawings that allow for accurate pricing and construction. We believe maintenance is love, and we're here to help you feel empowered to interact with your garden.
02
Site Survey
The survey gives an accurate base and starting point. We can point you in the direction of surveyors if you don’t already have one. We also do research on your local climate, soil, regional challenges, current zoning system, sector compass, and more.
04
Planting Plan
Next is the Planting Plan. This will be done to create a scheme for your chosen plant species. We specialize in companion planting that looks great without requiring constant care to keep them that way.
06
Optional Items
This includes work such as a fully designed maintenance guide eBook, 3D visuals, and animations that might be required. Clients can request a quote if they would like to see any other elements of their projects.
